This is perhaps the best at home group training and support in the midwifery world . Expect Great guest speakers, hopefully every two months! EPIC Group demonstrations on Zoom and Google Classroom. Certifications will be given to those who complete the seven sections. General and advanced skills will be taught in the following categories, care and use of equipment, physical examination and vitals, prenatal care, labor and delivery, postpartum, newborn care, and complications. You will be given what items and suggested books to have on hand ahead of time. We will practice skills together, then we will participate in questions and stories period. The skills are taught at the speed of the students. Students are encouraged to bring their questions for study hall time. Which may be on another evening from the official class.
